PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Heber Public Utility District Board will hold a Public Hearing at a regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., at the Board Chambers located at 1078 Dogwood Rd., Suite 104 Heber, CA 92249.
Subject: Water Shortage Contingency Plan
In order to conserve the available water supply and protect the integrity of public water system (PWS) supply facilities, with particular regard for domestic water use, sanitation, and fire protection, and to protect and preserve public health, welfare, and safety and minimize the adverse impacts of water supply shortage or other water supply emergency conditions, the Heber Public Utility District will consider adoption via Resolution a Water Shortage Contingency Plan regulating or prohibiting water use that is considered to be non-essential during a period of determined drought conditions.
Your participation is encouraged at the above noted time and place, testimony from interested persons will be heard by the Board and duly considered prior to making a decision on the Water Shortage Contingency Plan. Any material submitted to the Board for consideration (photographs, petitions, letters, etc.) will be retained by the District and cannot be returned.

In addition, information may be obtained at the above address between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, except on holidays.
